William Kavy

My college career started in accounting. I realized after two years and a tax internship that that path probably wasn’t for me, so I stuck with the major but decided to explore something else. I chose journalism because I love learning and talking to people, and it seemed the most practical way to try writing.

 

After college, I looked for even greater practicality, and I began working at an advertising agency here in Dallas. It’s a perfect experience, allowing me to hone my creative and professional abilities at a company primed for personal growth.

 

Today, I write funny comments for branded accounts, headlines for billboards and posters, body copy for e-mails, captions for big brands’ social calendars, and just about anything else that needs words on it or ideas behind it. 

 

I want to continue finding new ways and places to be creative with new and interesting stories to tell.
